ABOUT THE EVENT
Buy a book, give a smile – is a charity book sale program organized by Operation Smile UAE (OS) in association with Al Wahda Mall (AWM), to help raise funds for the former from used/donated books.
AWM has been supporting OS since its inception in UAE through various fund raising initiatives of which the Charity Book Sale is the much anticipated event by shoppers and OS followers/supporters alike.
About Operation Smile – Children who are born with cleft lip or cleft palate are faced with challenges many of us cannot ever imagine. Operation Smile is an international children’s charity committed to saving lives and allowing children with clefts to smile properly for the first time. All proceeds from the charity drive initiatives goes to Operation Smile UAE which helps in providing free surgeries and aftercare to those affected.
